  • Faculty are considered "responsible employees." However, faculty do not have to report when incidents of sexual misconduct are communicated by a student during a classroom discussion, in a writing assignment for a class, or as part of a University-approved research project. This exemption does not pertain to office hours or conversations elsewhere.
